FiberWood’s commitment to the environment

FiberWood's commitment to the environment
A 90% recycled composition
FiberWood composite boards are made from 60% recycled wood fibers, combined with 30% recycled post-consumer plastic and 10% ecological additives. No virgin wood is used. The result is a 100% recyclable co-extrusion product, much stronger and more durable than traditional wood.
FiberWood composite boards are manufactured using a closed-circuit recycling process, with lower water and energy consumption. This method limits waste and preserves the integrity of the original material, while producing high-performance, uniform and aesthetically pleasing boards.
What's more, wood composite is a forest-friendly solution, since no trees need to be cut down to make the boards. It also represents a responsible alternative to exotic woods, which are often harvested in ways that are harmful to tropical ecosystems.
