GRAPHIC DESIGNER POSITION

We are looking for an intermediate or senior Graphic Designer to join the Fiberwood team, a division of A1 Imports, at our head office in Bois-des-Filion. We seek a creative, motivated individual capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, modifying, and updating all company catalogs and documents for both print and digital formats, creating visuals for promotional items, as well as graphics for websites and social media. The position is on-site at our office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop various graphic elements and visual presentations for the sales department
• Produce brochures, catalogs, packaging, displays, business cards, etc.
• Create web banners and visuals for websites and social media
• Prepare files for printing
• Clip and retouch product photos for catalogs
• Edit photos of completed projects
• Ensure visual quality and adherence to the company’s brand identity
• Maintain brand consistency
• Perform any other related tasks and responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience in a similar role – essential
• DEC in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent – essential
• Fluent in written English and French – essential
• Expertise in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) – essential
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with AutoCAD (Fusion 360 + Extensions), Midjourney or other AI image tools, and 3D animation – strong assets
• Creative and up-to-date with social media content trends
• Significant experience in creating catalogs and brochures
• Experience in designing visuals for packaging
• Experience in creating banners and digital graphics
• Mastery of typographic rules and graphic styles
• Strong ability to manage priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Highly proactive and independent
• Strong organizational skills
