POSITION: MARKETING COORDINATOR
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Fiberwood team, a division of A1 Imports. We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual, and energetic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating and implementing traditional and digital marketing strategies and activities to achieve our goals. This position is based at our newly renovated head office in Bois-des-Filion. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement innovative marketing strategies (traditional and digital)
- Manage the social media communities for Fiberwood and Le Cabanon across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Vimeo, and YouTube)
- Create content for social media and newsletters (images/designs/content)
- Ensure seamless coordination between external and internal partners for marketing collateral creation on certain projects
- Coordinate product catalogs for Fiberwood with the graphic designer and all involved departments, make necessary edits, and communicate them
- Monitor the performance of marketing initiatives aimed at achieving business objectives and make recommendations
- Conduct competitive analysis of marketing activities and stay up-to-date on best practices in marketing and the composite product industry
- Oversee all marketing project progress
- Contribute to the development of marketing tools and distribute them to distributors and retailers
- Assist in promoting the brand
- Perform any other related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in a similar position – required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing – an asset
- Fully bilingual, both written and spoken – required
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Suite, and Meta
- Creative individual who stays up-to-date with social media content trends
- Significant experience with ads (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Strong ability to manage priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Highly proactive, ambitious, and independent

POSITION: International Buyer

- Work schedule:
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, weekdays
- Must be available some evenings and weekends to communicate with suppliers abroad
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate terms, conditions, prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards with suppliers
- Place orders and issue purchase orders to international suppliers
- Update information in the ERP system
- Track orders in an international context (freight, transport, lead time, customs, duties, inspection)
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or understocking by making informed purchasing decisions
- Ensure that the products meet the required quality standards and specifications; if needed, use third-party services to inspect and test incoming goods
- Optimize costs while maintaining the desired quality and standards
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments
- Ensure that all purchases comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Prepare reports of purchasing activities, costs, and performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role – essential
- Perfectly bilingual (English and French) – essential
- Knowledge of Chinese – an asset
- Knowledge of materials and construction industry – an asset
- Degree in Procurement Management – an asset
- Strong sense of organization, dynamic approach, and excellent autonomy
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
